I tried posting in first gear but no one seems to know. NYC or Charleston SC. Which would be the port of entry for a Milwaukee WI bound MINI?

 

I would say there's not a definite answer - I've ordered two MCS's into St. Louis, MO. The first one came into NY (NJ, I think) and the second one came into Charleston. It may have to do with the overall mix of the shipment and truck scheduling, etc.

The '05 came through Charleston, but my '02 came through NJ.

Maybe it's based on color, in that case I would say you're looking at NJ because my '02 was CR/W

My 05 CR came into NJ, the dealer called me a day before the ship docked,and told me if I wanted to go and watch the MINI's being unloaded, I could go there. My sales receipt and VIN # would get me into the facility. Nice,huh? the dealer was Otto's MINI in West Chester, Pa. Good Luck with your new MINI HFM
