Stratmosphere customer service?

I have given these guys very high marks and the Milltek exhaust is my recommendation...... my first Milltek header had a bad cat and they replaced it right away... now this one has a bad cat and I started emailing 2 weeks ago and have called 3-4 times and sent a few more emails....I have yet to speak with anyone.....

also I paid the labor for the replacement....somehow that seems wrong to have to pay that labor again.....

can anyone shed some light

I know they're in the process of moving to new premises, so that could be the problem with the non-returned calls & e-mails etc. Bob & Pete are great guys and I'm sure they'll do everything they can to sort things out.....I doubt they'll reimburse labor/installation costs though; even on a faulty product.

I haven't found them to be responsive at all. Multiple emails sent about fitment on a Cabrio exhaust and no reply. Only contacting Milltek direct got any reply. With a second Mini on the way, we're probably buying something else this time.

I wonder why someone would recommend Milltek after so many failures. My Milltek exhaust has cracks in the resonator and on each exhaust canister, every weld is badly rusted and some leak; it has gone downhill fast in the last six months. Three headers and another cat back were defective right out of the box. No recommendation for the product here and not the best experience with Stratmosphere either.

The reason I like it is the sound...... it has a nice tone (sounds like a performance car) without being too loud and it does not drone..... this "cat" thing is a drag but the header is expensive and I don't think they will give me my money back.....I'm getting tired of products that either don't perform or are under built..... this stuff should not be considered dispoable..... as usual Kieth, you make a good point
