R50/53 Highest mileage MINI so far?

I'm close to 119k - put 26k on my first year.
Daily driver (Duh!) and 100 mile round trip to work put the miles on fast (plus the drive to AMVIV every year).
Just thought I'd put out the word to 115k and above drivers - my S/C just failed. No oil in the gear housing for the water pump, at the back of the S/C.
So all you 115+ drivers... make sure you have someone pull the S/C and put oil in that baby.

so did you just have to oil it or replace the SC altogether?
I have heard that the supercharger is only good to about 150K miles. I guess that was way off. But it was because of the oil.

After my mechanic searched around for a supercharger I found one through NAM - Keith, in TX, had one for sale and I bought it yesterday. I should have it on Monday - in the car on Tuesday - back home in my garage on Wednesday (I hope!).
Looks like I was off on my warning ... the supercharge is only good for approximately 100k.
Forewarned is forearmed!!

Just saw this post and you reply so here goes: 140K total 122K since the addition of the JCW and with the exception of a MAP sensor the engine and drive train is still a virgin no seal broken, 31 track days in 2005, 25 track days so far this year and still going strong.
Well I guess its time for a new car, I wonder what car I will get next?
actually THDUKE will never be replaced and since I still can't afford my true dream car I will have to settle for 2007 M3, there i said it I am now committed.
Sorry to sidetrack a bit, but about the supercharger going bad -- can you just add more oil to it before 100k? I just broke 50k, and all of a sudden anything and everything that affects the longevity of any part of my MINI interests me more than ever. Can I expect to have to replace the supercharger, or will proper maintenance keep it running?
Lube the SC
There is no reason to just let the SC die because the oil gets low. They are so expensive that it surely seems smart to me to pull the water pump and check/add/flush/replace/whatever the lube in both ends every 50K or so.
I posted a thread in the 'under the bonnet' section of this forum about pulling the sc at about 40-50 and drilling and tapping an access hole in the side of the gear housing to install a place to add lube and let xs oil drain out. A location with an extension tube or pipe that could be more easily accessed. Then you could check the lube every time you changed your engine oil. No one seemed to jump on that band wagon. But I'll be damned if I'm going to let the sc chew itself up just because I let the lube go dry.
I'll be pulling the water pump and doing the lube maintenance on the sc no matter what it takes. At that time I'll see if my idea is worth doing or not. I just can't afford to drop big bucks on a replacement sc.
If you keep it lubed, I don't see why the sc should be expected to die at about 100K.
