Maxed out my MINI last night

My mother, sister, wife and himself drove up to Melbourne, FL last night in a FL gully washer. It was about 20 miles. I figure I had about 600# of passengers and a full tank of gas. We were pretty comfortable and on the way home it began to clear and I gave them a demonstration. I was surprised that with all the extra cargo the car still pulled strong!

Be careful, you know the rules....no talking about maxing out a Mini on public roads! LOL

A couple of years ago I was in Las Vegas and met a friend and his family for dinner. Their big SUV rental was hidden deep in the hidden recessed of the parking structure so we took the MINI. My friend, his wife and 2 grown kids. I estimate 800-900 pounds of 'cargo'. Being July, in Vegas, the A/C was on full blast and I really felt the weight.
