Part of the deal with myself in buying the Mini was that I would sell my 99 Jeep Wrangler Sport to help defray some of the new car cost. Well, ever since taking delivery of my 06 BRG/JCW on 01/30/2006 I haven't even looked at the Jeep: even though I park right next to it. The thing seems like someone elses car.

Today I decide to get real with the sale, but when I go to start it... the battery is dead, two of the tires need air, and there's a level of dust and grime on it that make me ashamed (as I tend to treat my vehicles quite well). It got a trickle charger on it right now and, fortunately has enough air in the tires to make it to a service station.

I had A LOT OF FUN with that Jeep, but such is the power of the Mini

 

Yeah I had one sitting in the driveway for 9 months before it turned over again; and just yesterday had the valve cover off batt disconected and so on; had to get it back together this morning, will take down the street and fill up the tires (they loose about 5 lbs every 2 weeks cause the rubber is all baked out from sitting in the sun and never moving) I've got to getit fixed up and reliable again for a younger sibling who years after he was able to now finally needs to get a Drivers lisence and will need a car to get him to the train station. Good part is I have the car pulling upwards of 40mpg so once its running it cists next to nothing to keep it going.
