I know it's just the mid-season-finale, but it was kinda anti-climatic (so to speak).

I expected some whackage.

 

My wife and I saw it and both shouted "look, it's a Mini !" . We both got a kick out of that. First the Italian Job, now the Italian Mob.....

 

Yeah me too....I was kinda expecting them to whack Tony! since that would really be the 'end' of the show!

 

Does anyone know what episode number it was? Those overseas are clueless and have to rely on sent taped episodes... or other means of seeing it...

 

Not sure of the episode number but it was the "Season Finale" for 2006 and Sunday night was the first time this aired. The series will pick up again early next year for 8 more episodes before the "Series Finale".

Go to tv.com and look up the Sopranos and under episode guide it should give the episode # and a little glimps into the episode.

That's what I thought at first...when it was nighttime. But when she was talking to Christopher in the daylight and Tony saw them, I could swear the roof was silver...my brother thought so too.

There are three shots of the MINI - two by the firehouse and another side shot - filmed through Christopher's Masaratti - after dark. In the second shot at the firehouse (from the rear), you can see the dual center pipes making it an MCS. The scoop in the first shot is kind of obscure....

In the third shot at night, I have backed it up several times and can't identify the wheels - maybe a lighting thing but then maybe they are after-market.

The last shot shows her shutting down the MINI and the there are clearly after-market driving lights that flicker off as well - they are not the large round stock ones but very small (2-3" across?). I have seen them before in photos from the forum but don't know the make. The other weird thing about that scene is the the car doesn't cleanly shut down but the lights flicker and sputter for a couple seconds before everything turns off. What is up with that...?

Yeah we saw it too... We also caught one on House Hunters again. We paused it and I snapped shot.

 

on the sopranos, it's an 06 space blue. no checkmate, or at least no quarter panel graphics. S-lite wheels. the light "sputter" is probably her hand hitting the light stalk (follow me home lights) after turning off the car, then quickly turning them off again. happens to me sometimes.
