before i got my MINI (3 days ago now!!) i had a brand new acura rsx and i would still wave at minis as they passed. most probably thought i was nuts but they waved back!

 

how do you like your MINI compared to the acura...btw BEAUTIFUL MINI!!! i love it!! i bet you were just estatic.

I love her (Stella :P)! I feel like a celebrity when I drive around town because although you see a few MINIs here and there, it's still a not-so-common event so I see people waving and smiling and pointing and people that try to pass just so the passenger in the car can get a better look! It's amazing! I never had that with the RSX. It was only those early 20-somethings who modded their cars with loud exhausts hoping for performance like that in a MINI. Haha. The seating position is much better too. In the MINI you sit a bit more straight and the dash is a shorter distance from the window so you feel more alert and what not. WAY better. I knew I'd feel this way about my MINI!!

This is my also first standard car and I just learned a week ago so it's giving me even more excuses to motor around town - i have to "practice"! My driving has improved incredibly in just 3 days. I drove all the way to my university (20 min drive) without stalling once, and it was stop-and-go traffic on most of the way! I had a hard decision on the colour! I almost chose the Pepper White until I saw them side by side. Plus I have some other stuff up my sleeves (*cough* pink bonnet stripes and roof *cough* )

PS: your PW shines like crazy in that pic! Great job on the wash/wax/whatever you did to make it look that purrdy!
