Well I took the plunge and ordered a MC PW on 7 May. I have some questions about how I might best work myself into a frenzy as I wait, wait, wait.

I have a Production # and have checked the Owner's Lounge and it comes up "On Order."

Other details on my sales invoice are:
Req. Prod: 2006/06/23
Sub. Prod: 2006/06/23
Conf. Prod: 2006/06/23
Quota: 2006/6

Can someone explain if these are REAL dates and how I might confirm
details of my production schedule.

If you want real (accurate) information, you are going to have to check with the dealer. It seems that the external (customer-accessible) systems are not updated as frequently as the internal (dealer-accessible) ones. This was my experience a year ago when I ordered my MCSa and it was the case when Ia friend recently ordered a M3. The mybmw order status was a joke - they were still showing the car as being in transit (shipped) when it had arrived at the dealer....
