You can get the .pdf manual in the Owner's Lounge at Miniusa.com. I didn't get a manual, so I contacted Mini through the website and they were nice enough to mail me one pretty quickly. If I knew how to attach a file I could send you the manual. Sorry.

 

I can get that one, but I thought that was the authorized manual and they had another one also....I could be horribly wrong....

Exactly-there is an "unauthorized" manual that mini is mailing out. Some folks have got them, some haven't.

 

 

I read the manual at the dealership and the one in the MINI owners lounge is the same.

No. It's not the OL version. It's a funny & funky version, with very cool graphics & "MINI Philosophy" stuff.

Are you referring to "The Book of Motoring?" It's a cool little manual of photos and specs with a lot of "philosophy" stuff. If so, you can get one by requesting a brochure through Miniusa.com.

 

I got the 'Book of motoring' from a vending machine.

No Really!

My dealer had a vending machine set to 'Free' and full of the book of motoring.
Pretty cool huh?

Just to clarify....

There is supposed to be an UN-AUTHORIZED owners manual published by mini in circulation. It's supposed to be a humorous poke at the typical "owners manual".

There is also a mention of it on the last page of the July 22nd Autoweek magazine with a funny exerpt from it.

Please let us know if anyone has one and can convert it to a PDF.

 

The unauthorized manual is a riot! I was sent one in PDF form by a kind person who actually got one. She took the time to scan it in, 32 pages, and convert it to PDF. I have posted it on my MINI's website - you can see the link below in my signature.
