Hi everyone.... I found this tonight and thought I would share it with you.

Personally, I've been looking for a "good" MINI Cooper RC car to tinker with and of yet have had very little luck. Found these little things but I don't think it's worth the money... +100.00! Anyone have experience with these? Any thoughts?

Good, maintainable, R/C cars aren't going to be cheep. Something to putter around with, you should consider looking at Radio Shack or major chain stores. However, for upgradable, cusomizable, maintainable cars, you should look at a hobby shop or a hobby shop retailer on-line. Plan on spending $200-$500 for a decent R/C ride.

I used to race the 1/10 scale battery powered RC cars years ago. At that time you could change the basic car out with higher rpm moters, gears, shocks, tires, and longer life batteries. The body of the cars are a clear plastic that you paint yourself. They had bodies from stock cars to sprint cars. Watch out these little cars they will do about 25 - 30 mpg and can take a child feet out from under them. I know it happen to my son.
