Somewhere in this great website are lists of programmable options. I had printed it out for my trip to the dealer, then moved last week and can't find the list. It had items to personalize such as daytime running lights, one click door unlocking, etc. Not that I will want all of these options, but when I was at the all important pick-up time at the dealer today, I totally blanked on some of the features which are available.Can anyone provide the link or reference to the computer programmable items! Thanks.

List of possible dealer programmable options: (check with dealer for details):
· Signal an acknowledgement when locking or unlocking your vehicle
· Automatic door locking after start off.
· Automatic door unlocking with parking brake application
· Selective central locking. (drivers door on first click, whole car on second)
· Automatic open and close sunroof
· Open and close sunroof and windows via remote.
· Speed dependant windshield wipers
· Automatic wipers on cleaning
· Low beams stay on for 40 seconds after engine is shut off (follow me home lights).
· Locking when engine is running (with second key)
· Daytime running lights
· Interior lights via remote.

I can't say whether these are all accurate. My dealership only claims some of these are valid (follow-me-home lights, DRL's, auto door lock after 10mph+, and selective central unlocking)

VEHICLE MEMORY ---That's what it is called. Thanks, Ryephile. Anyone else have a checklist of the changeable/programmable options?

Any opinions on the 3 I would consider the most important:

1. A signal/beep when locking or unlocking (I use this to find my car in a crowded parking garage, especially since the valet guys will park it anywhere.)
2. Follow me home lights (low beams that stay on 40 seconds after engine is shut off.
3. Automatic door unlocking with parking brake application.

I have also seen a sheet from one of the Yahoo MINI forums about engine loudness also... Granted, i'm assuming it's an 'option' that was probally never offered, but it was rather odd to see.. but ya, really, it seems up to the dealers what they can and cannot program..
