Almost finished

Well I'm almost done with the new project. Here are some pix.
06 S, LSD, English leather, 7 dash, anthracite headliner, cw, auto air, mf steering wheel, front and rear fogs, JCW kit, JCW wheels, spoiler, and brakes. M7 splitter, and springs, aero kit w/ cutom rear grills, and lots of odd and end powdercoating and painting. I have also blacked out the belt line since these pix.

That looks fantastic (unfortunately the photo doesn't look like Pepper White in reality).

Why won't MINI offer a "pure" white option.....it would look sooooo good

Dang, that's really nice. I love the black dash pieces with the white accents. Also, the white grill surround is a really nice touch.

Very unique!

Nice blackout to side S grill and Cooper letters.

Got any pictures of the english leather interior?

What kind of rear spoiler is that?

Another option would have been silver/polished lip on the black rims.

Sweet! I wondered how long it would take you to get another MINI.

Very nice. The only thing I don't like is the color matching wheel "spats" or arches. Cheapens the look of the car IMO.

Looking good, John. Now I see why you have not been around the board much lately. Looks to be worth the wait.

Truly amazing! There are enough details on this car to start at least 20 other project cars. The thought that went into it is staggering. People have mentioned the color, the wheel arches, the grille, the spoiler, the side grilles, the wheels, etc.

How about the clear reflectors on the front arches (no yellow to distract the eye)? Or the painted interior door handles? Or the WHITE surrounds for the gauges? Or the painted BLACK down tubes to match the Piano black dash? Or the LACK of window tint? Or the stock red taillight covers instead of after-market black... the red matches the Cooper "S" and the brake calipers.

The list goes on and on... Whether it matches your dream or not, I can only be amazed at the execution. As much as I appreciate the palette of colors MINI offers, the cleanest cars seem keep it to three (or, maybe, four) colors. This is a work of art!

Please, no matter how much anyone begs, please don't give us a price tag. Some things are better left to the imagination.

Looks even better all put together! There were a couple of details you didn't show me. Like the painted trim interior trim pieces. SUPER job. Definately a Monk original.

I'm still waiting to get back mine from the shop. At least the new tag came in.....

Wow, thanks for all the nice compliments. I have put months into the planning of this car with lots of daydreaming about this or that. It means a lot to feel like I succeeded. Thanks again guys.
Here's a couple more that I took.
