I've had my MINI for one year/20kmi, and on EVERY fillup, once a week or more, I figure milage (number of miles on trip odometer divided by gallons) and compare it to the 'average consumuption' number on the obc. The mpgs are ALWAYS (plus/minus maybe 1mpg) IDENTICAL.

I guess I'd prefer a full-time clock, not one I have to access...although I'd want it on the dash, not way up over the mirror.

Hmmm this is a tough one.. First i'd ditch these sport seats for some real racing seats - ones where I don't have to keep adjusting myself in so my back doesn't keep bothering me - the bolsters are too short or something - and the lowering of the seat should lower the front as well (not just the **** end).
Give me a clock that shows the time and not just tells it (as in this digital clock).
Yes a compass would be nice..My wifes car has it and I love it.
Give me more low end torque...I hate how when I try and switch lanes in bumper to bumper traffic and all I get is a slow get-a-way that almost endangers me and the car I just tried to dart in front of:impatient ..it's quite embarrassing. Thats all I can think of now
geez this sounds as if I have issues with my car...but I do love it - honest

...not only that, I took this way off topic. sorry

WHOOPS

Sorry Bluezeke

I thought you were referring to the average consumption read out.

I never could...still can't...figure out why I need an instant gas milage readout

haha.. i know. For the longest time i had the armrest in my order spec, then I actually tried USING it at the dealer and it was terrible! Too small of a pad - my elbow keep sliding off of it. And the "lump" shape doesn't help either.. i couldn't keep my arm on it! (plus it needs to be about 4" closer to the dash for optimum placement when shifting).

The GTI armrest was nice, though

I kinda like the arm rest. I would never have ordered or bought it but it was in the car so I thought what the heck. The only problem is that it is hard to ajust the lumbar and recline.

I'd trade my non-dimming exterior mirrors for electro-chromatic ones. I'd also trade the xenon headlights for bi-xenon lights. I'd like to trade my mesh roof shade for an opaque one. I have a roof graphic, but it was unbearable until I got the flag.

I DID trade my driver's side useless knee bolster for the euro parcel shelf. That should be traded right on the assembly line.

The one down side comment i get from just about every passenger is "whats up with the directional signal???" LOL ...
Aside from the 15% pulley and header/exhaust that i'm adding .... i would like to have a seperate left and right directional display.
By the way is there an aftermarket part for that??

Bye bye OBC. Although, I love the temp gauge the most. And the temp reading is USUALLY spot on. Comes in handy in a colder climate.

But, I would trade it out in a heartbeat for upgraded H/K audio. Everything else in the car that I have, I LOVE!!! I skipped the leather, but opted for rain sensing wipers and autodip mirror.

Not really a trade, but I wish the outside mirror adjuster had a neutral switch.
I used to put my iPod right under the e-brake, but I was always adusting the mirrors by accident.
(my son wishes for a quieter directional signal)

I'd trade that electro nanny ASC for a decent cup holder & a clock that's readable & not tied with the trip Odo. While I'm at it I'll trade those runflats with some real tires & a spare. By & large I'm lovin me MINI.
