Dog screen?

I was wondering if there is a dog screen that would work in a mini. I have one in the suv that separates and keeps the pet in the rear portion of the vehicle.
Thanks.

Hey, Oliverm! I was wondering the same thing. Especially for those of use that (a) have dogs and (b) have that awesome sunroof option. It seems as though some of the bar-type units available may not work with the sun roof. I (and my two dogs, Yoshi and Bear) would be very interested to hear what is out there as well. Thanks for letting me join in on the request line!

I've also wondered the same thing.

Chows, some of us don't have a choice! :-) I've seriously considered buying a sub-$1,000 Cherokee to haul the pups in, but with a large-scale move hopefully coming up in the next few months, I'm not sure that's a good idea...

So you guys are looking for something that will fit behind the front seats when the rear are folded down? Maybe it would just be simpler, cheaper, and equally safe to harness the dogs and tie it down to the loops in the hatch, or the baby seat things that are there somewhere (I haven't looked for them but used to use that to tie a leash to in a BMW) or get the kind that loop through the seatbelts?

There have been some good threads here about people carrying their dogs and using things with the rears seats covered, folded down or removed.

Of course, there is another option, get a portable dog that can have its own safe isolated little seat like mine

Chows you should change your sig to same something like "two Chows never allowed in my one MINI" The MINI isn't some priceless high dollar car that will see major loss due to dog hair on the interior.

For someone who includes their dogs in their sig you would think that having them go for a ride in a car as cool as yours would be a special treat.
