As for that four option page, I'll go with:
No daytime driving lights
40 second pathway lighting (that's the follow me home lights thing, right?)
NO automatic locking after exceeding 10mph
selective central unlocking ON

Sounds good to me
The convenience opening (sunroof and windows open when holding down the unlock button) is now a standard feature. One touch open for the sunroof is also standard, but the one touch close leaves the sunroof in the tilted position so you have to hold the button forward to completely close.

My MA told me they set the DRLs to on, the pathway lighting appears to be set off, the auto locking is on as is the selective central unlosk I think. So you will definitely need to tell them if you want it otherwise. Just curious though, why don't you want the DRLs? They are required by law in many places I think and insurance companies like it.

I think a lot of the things you would want to have set are now standard features. I am happy with the way it all worked out when I picked up my car this morning.

There have been long threads and heated arguments about DRLs in the forum. Some people feel very strongly that it looks goofy to drive around in broad daylight with lights turned on, and they don't want anything to do with it. I do have DRLs turned on because they have been statistically shown to reduce accidents and increase safety. Discussion about DRLs should really go into a new or existing thread on the topic, because it would make this thread go way off topic.

I don't really feel the need for DRLs because of all those times I need my MINI to be dark and stealthy. I'm a secret agent. So my MINI can't be shining his flames with the torches of glory... top secret stuff though. Very hush hush. If I want lights on, I'll simply turn them on.

Oh crap! I guess I'm not a secret agent anymore... I just told all the NAMers! I'm still an agent though! Keep this a secret everyone...
