Hard to see why anyone would buy a car without cruise control. It's standard on just about everything sold today, at least when you're talking 22K plus. If you don't want to use it you don't have too...and the car will be easier to sell than one without cruise control.

I'm wondering if MINI will finally make cruise standard equipment in 07'?

Well guys, the entire premium package is stuck on there. Talked to the dealer today, and he said my MINI was "set in stone" not long after I added the LSD.

Hopefully I'll enjoy the armrest a lot.

That means no anthracite headliner though, but I think my car willl still look great without it.

Thanks for everyone's help. Based on what most people here have posted, I think the premium package was a great and useful decision. I'll probably be glad I got it, when I get my MINI for the first time.

yeah... as long as you have the standard center speedo you get the digital readout on the tach with MPH. that's a standard function, not one of obc.

No matter the mix of options,

as long as you have four wheels, gas in the tank, and it's a Mini, you'll have a blast!

This is a silly question, but, does anyone have a picture of a dark silver MINI with gray/black seats and the stock (grey) headliner? I've seen pictures of it all separate, but I'm wondering if anyone had some cool shot that would show off both the interior and exterior... obviously that's a pretty hard shot to get, but it can't hurt to ask.

Another odd question is, what if I want to change the stock sun visors to the anthracite versions. Are those easy to buy and "pop" in and out? I'm thinking of cool two tone combinations like that...

Thanks,
Jonathan

I know this really doesn't get the seats all that well, but here is my little girl in her dark silver glory... i hope this helps a little.

I would order the Premium package components separately and bag the automatic climate control. I prefer the old style *****. My car has been to the MINI dealer 3 times for automatic climate control issues.

Thanks shankrabbit! That's exactly how mine will look with the bonnet stripes and those wheels. Looks very good!

Doesn't really show the headliner too much, but still a useful picture.

I just did this myself... it's the one thing that I really wanted.

While you can always override an auto A/C into manual mode, there is one huge advantage to the manual A/C - you can get speed-sensitive ventilation with the system/fan *turned off*. Don't have my car yet, but if it's like every other manual A/C I've used, that should include heated ventilation while the system is off. Also hoping that the speed-sensitive ventilation will be enough to equalize the speed-sensitive vacuum pressure of the open sun roof to reduce buffeting and noise.

Have always hated listening to the auto fans that turned unnecessarily and once had a squeaky fan that drove me nuts :impatient.

So what's the trick then?...

Thought the air flow through an auto A/C would be entirely controlled by fan speed....does that vary with driving speed? Would love to implement on my another car, if possible.
