I have a question on the options for the MCS. Do we know if the heated windshield is available yet, or when it is coming?

Also, I got a silly pamphlet on the Mini in one of my car mags this month. Most of the stuff was just funny, but one picture caught my eye. It was a drawing of the back fo the steering wheel that showed 3 steering wheel buttons on the backside of the wheel. What are these for?

They are audio controls and part of the multifunction steering wheel package... :smile:

The heated windshield option was cancelled a while ago, due to overly pricey replacements and general redundency (there's already defroster vents!)

I just got off the phone with MINIQUEEN herself, I ordered my MCS Finally! WOO HOO!!
The MINIQUEEN stated that definitively the heated winshield option was dropped due to cracking windshields and other techno gremlinns which could not be worked out. :smile:

the windshields seem to be cracking just fine without the heating elements
