I agree... I bought a Garmin 5i for $330.. Works as well as the most expensive ones and can be used in multiple cars. Use the saved money for LSD and Xenons.... money better spent!

Doesn't fit with the aesthetic of the car. IMHO.
Ezra, check the software version that you have (it's listed in the Settings screen). If you don't have SW 4-1/70, then you don't have the latest version. This version is also known as V27.

The latest version automatically accepts the legal notice for you after 4 or 5 seconds (amongst other improvements). Saves you having to hit the button ever again.

NAY! Save the 1,400 bucks and buy a kick *** aftermarket one! You can get so much more for your money that way.

I have the NAV in my '06 MCSa and also own the Garmin 2720. I prefer the Garmin unit to use because it has the touch screen. But I prefer the NAV's integration with the car. Love the fact that the voice can be changed from US to UK, I keep mine set to Brit mode. It's just one more thing that adds fun to the car. Both systems are very useful, I just wish the MINI's was touch screen, not the silly dial. That gets annoying.
