My 2006 Cooper just passed 125,500. I purchased new, May 2007. she is my daily driver and has been a sound, stellar Mini. I have had problems with my passenger Air Bag, but other than that I have had my share of new brakes, replaced all radiator hoses with Silicone ones.
I change the oil and filter every 5000 to 7000 miles.
The beautiful thing about MINI is the new car feel never seems to wear off. If I get up in the middle of the night, to get a drink, I will look out to the driveway and always feel happy seeing my Mini waiting for our next adventure.

This thread on high mileage Coopers cannot be complete without mention of Hstanfield! The last that I saw, he had passed 400,000 (miles not kilometers)

I get the feeling that he's so busy driving that he doesn't have time to stare at a computer screen.

Have you had the windshield replaced recently (or ever)? Most "departing A-pillar" issues are caused by windshield install techs breaking some of the A-pillar attachment clips during removal, and then rather than replacing the clips with new ones, they just used double-sided tape to re-attach the cover. Works for a while, then...

I did. It was replaced at a local glass shop. It was cover by insurance. The dude who did the work said that the covers were already cracked. The car was new to me then, so I couldn't dispute it very well. I found the covers on mini mania for $55 or so each. Ive got two new stars in the window. Ill wait to see if they can be filled before I put the new covers on.

I've got a 2003 JCW MCS that just hit 90,000 miles. I bough it used with around 80,000 on it....and so far it's been a great car. I got it from the original owner, and all they did to it was routine maintenance. The only thing I had to replace when I got the car was a faulty BPV. It could probably stand to have some bushings replaced, and the shocks.....but other than that it's in perfect mechanical shape. I try to baby it, and not run it very hard since it's got "high" miles on it....but when I do get on it, it runs VERY good.

100'000 miles on the odo today.
It's been more or less perfect with the exception of a couple items below:
O2 sensor (warranty)
DME (after multiple dealer visits for a recurring P2096 code)
ABS sensor (warranty)
Replaced LCA bushing with PowerFlex polyurethane last month
Need to replace leaky oil pan gasket
Need to replace leaky pass side driveshaft seal
Need to replace leaky thermostat and put in a new water pump while I'm at it
Need to replace leaky PS lines to steering rack
Need to replace leaky windshield washer bottle
The only thing it ISN'T currently leaking is fuel... lol...
Have all the parts ready to go and will do this all over the holidays.
Even with all that, the car has been fantastic and we're very happy with it...

102k in my 2006 MCS. Original transmission and serpentine belt, but otherwise had a little more work done than most.
On the third water pump, second thermostat, had the power steering hoses changed, engine mount, oil pan gasket, bushings once or twice, hydraulic motor mount, AC compressor, and a couple sets of brakes.
Oh, and the RF wheel speed sensor about a month ago, and now the LF sensor is going out of a sense of solidarity. AC also stopped being cold, and so I'll be having that and the sensor looked at after Christmas.
Still, a fun car to drive!

244,000 on my 03S. Several issues but still love my Mini. Electrical Harness to the power steering had a melt down (that was expensive), Idler puller let go destroying everything around it (come to think of it that was expensive too), and then some typical stuff, radiator and electric fan changed out due to no low speed and two sets of brakes. Oh yeah, multiple dip sticks ( I think were on our fourth one). I don't even keep the good one in the car anymore, I leave the broke one in to plug the hole and the good one is hanging up in my shed. In the middle of changing out control arm bushings and ball joints right now.
