R50/53 We all know Pure Silver is the best...

I own 4 silver vehicles so my driveway looks like a Mercedes commercial. Boring? maybe, but I'd rather drive than clean. Plus the black cabrio top and trim contrast great on my MINI. Long live PS!!!

Almost every model of car I see seems like it looks better in silver or gunmetal to me.
Every car I've bought new has been light silver. Dark Silver, Royal Grey, Purple Haze, and British Racing Green were calling my name as a change of pace, but in the end I'm glad I wound up with the Pure Silver. There's a kind understated slickness to it that rarely seems present in other colors for me. Silver cars do seem to stay relatively clean looking a really long time if I lapse on the car wash schedule. I also don't see a whole lot of PS MINIs on the road around here (I see loads of CR, PW, and DS however) so I feel a bit more unique.
Some pics of the latest incarnation of the Silver Rocket, still pretty much stock:

Get outa here Rick, you accidentally posted in the superior silver thread.
Here's my observations - and it goes for more than just MINIs and cars. I may just be talking out of my **** though.
If you have a form with nice lines you draw attention to the lines with a lighter/reflective color. This is easily seen on sporty cars with dominant lines, like the small convertible benz whatever it is called, looks better in silver.
If you have a form where the lines are not the focus, or you want to hide the lines, you use dark color such as black. This is seen on big blingin stealthy looking rides that otherwise wouldnt look as good if they werent black, like a dodge magnum. This is also seen on project runway where Heidi Klum wore more and more black as her pregnancy went on, to draw focus away from the pregnant belly and back to rest of her.
I told you I may be talking out of my ****. I stand by my observation though. It seems true for autos and fashion.

I've designed a set of graphics for Msfitoy to wear down to the Dragon...call it War Paint
Subtle in comparison to contemporary trends...no freekn random zigzag stripes...just monotone graphic compositions of custom designed sponsor logos (including a new look for M7)
This year, I will be sponsored by M7 Tuning, DetroitTuned (I hear a tune coming on
), Redlinemotorsport (Detroit based tuner group), SIC graphics and of course, XunSu MINI motorsport...one of my own entities

Good news was that I owed a few grand less than I thought on it so I guess it all worked out. Hooray for PS!
