Hey, who let you in this thread? Get outa here.
Obviously dark silver is dirty tainted silver and it has gotten to your head. Go back to your dirty silver thread.
Ha!
I'm reading this tread, looking at the pictures of all these silver MINIs (light, dark--doesn't matter), and I'm thinking--WOW, these really are some sharp looking vehicles. Then it dawned on me--it wasn't the color that was so cool, it was the fact that they were Mini Coopers. Personally, I like 'em any color, but I like Chili Red the best.
I really need to take some new pics of this thing...

Now I need to get rid of that funny gap there huh? Also thinking of going with a glossy black for the wheel arches etc... I think it would go pretty well with the black roof and stripes...
Pure Silver is the most practical color of them all for both resale value and low maintenance to keep looking good. Every other color is a pain to keep clean and swirl free. After owning a few darker colored cars which look great for about 20 minutes after you wash them, I came to the realization that silver or grey is the only way to go. Yeah, they still get dirty but you can't tell from 20 feet away. I own 4 silver vehicles so my driveway looks like a Mercedes commercial. Boring? maybe, but I'd rather drive than clean. Plus the black cabrio top and trim contrast great on my MINI. Long live PS!!!
