Opened up the Works no less. My plan for saturday is to head down to S.E. Ohio & carve some twisties. I should complete my break-in miles on the drive down to the river. On the way back I'll be opening her up.

Isn't it grand? I think it'll be two years before I can feel as if I am harnessing the true power of the car. That number comes from not planning to try for any driving courses for the first year as I have little time being a "non-traditional" (read, older than normal and working full time) college student until next year.

 

This is my first stick and I'm just outta break-in. Today I got on a flat, straight road that has no crossings (it's about 1.5 miles long) -- I floored it in every gear to 5000k rpms.

Boy that was fun.

Today I also enjoyed taking posted 15 mph twisties at 45 mph.
