to be fore-warned...

Yes Patrick will do it, if weather conditions are right and the resources are available. My MA tol' me so.

BUT DON'T JUST DON'T! They will not take NEAR the care that you would. I got a nice surprise a while back, when they unexpectedly washed my MCS - 3 giant scratches on my formerly pristine perfect lovely bonnet . They took care of them (mostly, anyway), but it did cost me another dealer visit. I just wish I'd seen the scratches before driving off that day.

Some owners even put "Do Not Wash" signs in their cars and on their work orders, when they have to visit the dealer. Did I remember to recommend that you do NOT "let" the dealership do this particular favor for you?

Sincerely, Adam in Service at Patrick is da man! You didn't get your car from the wrong dealership . Did I already mention don't let the dealer wash your MINI?

For 20 bills the wash it and spend a good 20-30 min detailing inside and out... not a bad deal. My MINI comes out looking GREAT when they are done.

Heck, the last time I was there the guy infront of me was putting through a 500sl and the guy behind me was in a 540... I may be crazy but I don't feel the need to stand outside with a hose when its 20 degrees out!

It's still too fookin' cold to hand wash where I live. But fortunately, there's a few hand washing places where I live. I saw one place that does it for $10. It's only a few bucks for than the drive-thru places.

Its the truth!

I used to let Patrick wash my MINI, never had a problem! But it's just as easy for me to do it! It's a MINI!

Yep, I have one of those, and a standing order in the service system not to wash it. I explained firmly but nicely that the first time they run my MINI through the grit chute, as I call their washing machine, will be the same time the schedule a full respray of the exterior paint for me on their dime

'Course I bring my own oil in for the service visits too....
