R50/53 How much did you pay for your MINI?
Ohh! i see!
well i live in coral springs florida, so the nearest dealership would be fort lauderdale! I believe it's the four star dealership in the dealer rating system!? But any hints or tips you all can give me so that i can keep the dealer from robbing me and not charging me unfairly...... i would greatly appreciate it!!!

>>Just out of curiosity...... what do you mean exactly by "dealer add-ons"?? You see.... i'm very inexperienced when it comes purchasing new cars from dealerships..... so i'm unfamiliar with all the terms and such!
>>>Dealer addons usually only apply with models in stock, not one you've specially ordered. By example, I was at a dealer yesterday, here in Los Angeles. (I have an MC but am thinking of also getting an S in the future) Anyway, they had a very basic Cooper. To it they added LoJack, after market wheels/tires for 3k and had put a Union Jack on the roof. The car is green and white with black and tan interior. With that color combo and the blue/red flag, the car was hideous looking and The price of the car was now around 23k. A complete ripoff in my opinion and You had to buy the car 'as is' with all the garbage they had added on. This dealer is apprently well known (at least on this website) for selling special orders at MSRP with just the equipment you want. I guess they make up for that by overloading the cars they are allocated or otherwise in stock with these mandatory addons.
Here are some prices for US servicemembers in Germany. As posted earlier, cars are US spec and tax free but depending on what state they get shipped back to, there may a tax penalty.
Base price Cooper: $14,600
Base price Cooper S: $17,300
Sport Package: $1,250
Premium Package: $1,250
Delivery Charges: $265
Cheers,

My car arrives in the US today. MINI Cooper S Chili Red/white roof, premium, cold weather, and sport packages plus leather. I think it comes to 23,900 if I'm not mistaken... MSRP all the way, no add-ons forced (but I'll be doing add ons of my own for sure.... Alpine stereo, amps, XM radio, MB Quart speakers).
Will be putting about 50% down, financing rest over 3 or 4 years.

Took delivery of my dark silver/wht top MINI S with Premium Combo and floor mats on July 23. Paid MSRP, $23,250 out the door. Ordered it second week of April.
The car, by the way, is worth many $$ more than I paid for it. It's awesome.

>>My MSRP was identical to yours. Roof Racks, autobond, bonnet stripes, and multifunction steering wheel
HEY! Could you PLEASE post some photos of your roof racks, both on and what the car looks like with it removed?
THANKS!
