Retro is good since the MINI is stylistically retro.

I may have settled on "Monty", short for Montague (my wife's Brit boss's middle name), since it is British and evokes Monte as in Carlo (famous races won by Minis in the 60's).

Monty is also short for Montgomery--the famous WWII British general.

Also the main character in 25th Hour, great movie, highly recommended.
I think you should go with Clive. After Clive Owen, one of the best stunt drivers around! He starred in all of the short BMW films, and several big screen movies.

In fact I was thinking of Clive Owen and the BMW movies when I came up with the name. I didn't know he did his own stunt driving.
But for some reason it just doesn't seem to fit my car...

A guy pulled me over the other day while in my CR/B MCS. He was from Oxford, but living here now. He said he had a R/B classic when he was growing up and wanted to check out the new car in his old colors. He's a mechanic and his name is Martin .

My replacement for Alice will probably be Henry or Tommy (both Famous British Coopers!).

I'm leaning towards Duncan.
We have friends who are British, their son who is 19 is named Duncan. I wish I had a sweet name like that.

I really like Monty.
Picking up Nigel this weekend. From British F1 driver Nigel Mansell, as I have always liked the name since hearing it in refernce to him.

Sterling, as in Sterling Moss. Best driver ever. Isn't your roof silver?

I love the name Ian, as it is my own, and my family is british!
I have an Uncle "Jack" and an Uncle "Les" which is short for Leslie.
Dom is popular and I have a cousin named Dom.
However, I like Duncan, I may take that for my mini

Go right ahead! I think Montague/Monty is choice. I've incorporated it into my signature already.
