I was trying to be humorous by intentionally ignoring the obvious desecration of the Mini and making a snarky comment about the two-tone seats........oh well
For those who don't understand this mentality, check out the history of the Mini Moke, and I think you will be very very surprised .
Dominic is right; if you didn't know of the Moke, you're being kinda ignorant to call the person with the camo Cooper an idiot. Relax and appreciate that someone has the passion to make it their own.
Oh boy! You may be able to drive it only in the southern California.
We definitely need to wear very thick down jacket and pants in the Northern states all winter....

It was not a one-off, but a production vehicle developed to be used by the British Military!!! Here's a teaser of a Mini Moke.
For those who need a link to some history, see below...
Maybe it was a flood damaged car, a total loss, and someone thought it would be a waste to scrap such a CUTE little car that has this HUGE web shrine devoted to people voiding their factory warrantee by replacing parts with what THEY think is "cool."
It's got to be from the video (post44).
At least it's not a low-rider.
89AKurt,that was my first thought too. Wonder how many wet MINIs are sitting down in LA waiting for a new home? Make a great track car if the price was right.
Is it really? I remember hearing something about a MINI in a Madonna video for a single that was pulled because of the war on terror shortly after 9/11.
I'm 95% sure it is the MINI from the "American Life" video. In the video, it was driven down a fashion show runway along with models dressed in military garb. It also had a machine gun on the roof with a model aiming it at the audience and then they drive it off the end of the stage.
I thought it was cool even though the video may have been inappropriate for the time our country was going through. I'm surprised this is the first pic of the car that has surfaced since the video production, although the MINI could be a copy. Either way, if I had the money to do this to a MINI, I would!! Cheers and Merry Christmas!
I think it looks like fun , we would love to have a 2nd mini that we could play with and didn't care about scratches, dents etc., I know they have a blast in it.
I think it's fun! Especially love the little pipe-dealie on the side to assist in climbing inside the CamoMINI...and the bullet-hole decals are done very well.

EDIT: OOPS! Posted by PPE under Yucca's username again........sorry.......
Seriously... you guys need separate desktop profiles... it would solve it quickly. And stick a password on them, so you don't accidentally click on the wrong one. Even if you know each other's password (spouses with no secrets!), it will prevent you from going into the wrong one by mistake.
Assuming you use Windows XP, fast user switching makes it a snap!
