I plan on ordering a MCS soon. I know it will take x months to get here. My question is If I order my MCS at one dealer and then get a job somewhere else like another state / part of the country before my mini is made can i transfer my order to another dealer or do i have to stay with my origional dealer?

thanks

I've never seen any posts on it... I'd doubt it unless, ahh, honestly I don't know... i just doubt it!

I'm with Tollag. I also doubt it very, very much. But hey - I really don't know. Sounds very unlikely. If that was possible, people wouldn't be driving across the country to get their MINIs!

I originally made my order with a dealer that had a ten to twelve month wait, and I tried to switch to a dealer with a shorter wait. I was told that I could not transfer my order or deposit, I questioned seven different dealers.

Yeah but you SHOULD be able to cancel your orignial order and get your deposit back. Then you could put the deposit on the car at the dealer with the shorter wait. You can definitely do that.

Well that all depends on what the contract says... If you signed one where it states the deposit is non-refundable, then you're up s@^# creek without a paddle. You should look it over.
