slippery clutch pedals?

i just recently got my cooperS, and it's my first time driving manual. i'm wondering does any of you guys find the clutch pedal ( probably often usage and movement) very slippery to get a grip on when your shoe sole is wet from the outside weather?

does aftermarket pedals do the job? i want to invest in higher quality products (hamann? ac?) or should i go with the cheap stuff and still get the quality? specifically, what kinda pattern or material on the pedals will prevent horrible slipping.
****maybe a few pics of what you guys are using too? i appreciate it !****
thanks guys for the help !

Very common on manuals with rubber pads on the pedal.

i took mine off which made it alil better plus i have a better feel of my clutch.

You could try aftermarket pads that are all metal with better grip action on them.

been driving manuals for a while and that is one of the things I hate
about them...first slippery pedal, then squeaky shoes.

I dry my shoes on the floor mat before touching the pedal, or carry
a small towel to wipe the bottom of my shoes before touching the
pedals.

i don't drive my MT cars in the snow (or usually not in the rain either)
since about 2years ago, so stopped carrying a small towel for shoes.

the position of the MCS's pedal (close to the floor - not talking about
the engagement point) makes it more slippery than other cars, imho.
