If you wanted to do a bright chrome theme, I think you could get away with it by adding some silver bonnet stripes and other bright bits. . .

Probably not my first choice for a silver roof though, but I do love when people do something different. We have a new Purple Haze/Silver that looks great and will end up being one rare combo that lots of people would not choose.

Ive been planning on adding a silver vinly roof with all of the checkmate exterior bits to my DS/W 04 S.

The look is good on miniusa. but i need to see the silver roof next to my car.

as far as i know, no one has ordered a DS/S car yet....

Dark Silver / Silver top? Does it really exist? anybody!!!

I ordered a DS/S JCW 6 spd. with Parklane interior and will take delivery in about 10 days or so. Actually it really is a great combo visually (IMO) and if you live where the heat can be somewhat oppressive, it makes sense. This Summer I was at a dealership on a hot day and walked around touching the roofs just to see if I could noticably feel a difference on different colors. The difference was unbelievable between certain colors, white of course being the coolest and black was untouchable, silver, as could be expected, MUCH cooler than a red or black or dark blue.

Getting back to the DS/S color, it matches very well with silver rims and a silver stripe on the hood (although I am not adding one) would also be good.
I ordered mine without the exterior chrome so the grill stays DS for more contrast to keep the busy look at a minimum.

Good luck on your decision!

I think that DS/S would look great...it's hard to mess up a DS no matter what you do!

My only concern would be the sunrooof, if you got it. For me, I don't like the look of the sunroof in the white or silver roofs, too much contrast for my tastes.

can wait to see pics of one!
