I downloaded and printed out the official ones 3 up on a peach colored paper and they look very real.
Have enough in my car to torture every Mini owner in Chattanooga and surrounding counties. But am a bit weary that people see that as weird/stalking. A friend recently told me that she was dumbfounded when someone left a BMW Club card on her windshield of her brand new 330 BMW, and found it very, very odd.
Hmmmm?

Thanks for posting and creating this!

This is super cool. I plan to print out several copies of it along with copies of the official MINI version. Good and bad motorists beware!!!

We bought our '05 Mini back in June, and shortly after we purchased it, we got a fun package from Mini USA which included some of the citations, they are great, we also got 2 Bingo Cards, a journal, a mini pen and several post card like signs to hold up to differnt drivers, they are really cute

I want some stuff like this. Has anyone else received such a great little package with their mini purchase?

It's called "The Welcome Kit". You usually get it within a few weeks (or a few months ) after your purchase. Some people never get them. This might be because your dealer neglects to alert MINI USA about the completion of your purchase. If you don't see it soon, you can call MINI USA's customer service number and ask when you can expect to receive it. (Although they have never come through for me on those things).

There are a number of threads on NAM in which people either complain about never receiving one or gloat about having received one or whine about the uselessness (to them) of the contents.

I got a nice little package from MINI a couple months after my purchase but that was before the citations.
Later,

Thanks, Neilgj for the info...I'd like some useless stuff from mini, just so I know they care. They called me for the dealer survey, so I'm assuming they know I bought a car, but then again, who knows?

About 2 weeks after I purchased my Mini I received an envelope with a stencil and a MINI NOTE which said;

"Rumor has it there might be a new MINI headed you way. Now's the time to visit the driveway, garage or parking venue of your choosing (as long as it's yours) and stake out a little territory for you and your MINI."

I staked out my territory as you can see in my left signature photo with enlargement in middle.

OK, I've used about a dozen of these citations- COMPLIMENTING
people on their MINIs I see parked in various lots.
I leave my email for them to write back and NO ONE ever does!
Wouldn't you respond to someone who complimented you on
your MINI?
I feel like I've wasted all of them on people who aren't even
MINI enuthsiasts...bummer

I'll have to try and pass out some of the "official citation notice" around when I can. A well-placed compliment can always brighten up someone's day, and I love to see a smile in another's face.

But what's the point of this unofficial notice that was put together? It feels like the work of a grinch in its wording for me. Are people that mean-spirited that they feel the need to insult others if you don't like his car? I've always felt that if you have nothing good to say about someone else, better to say nothing at all.

I think the new MiniUSA site have changed. I remember the "motor on" heading on the old site, but I can't find it now. Any other ideas?
