the bulletin and the moderators for keeping such site available to the
general public.
If we have moderators that can understand all languages, that's great..
but if not, how are they going to be able to detect unwanted posts
or posts that are outside the site guidelines? (not just Japanese, it
could be ANY foreign language).
Example..if I started posting a street racing thread in Japanese, is
that going to be taken off as if it was written in English? If you think
about this the other way, how fair would it be to the domestic teens
(teens, relax, Im just saying this as an example. not a generalization)
if I get to post street racing stories while they can't? I smoked a
612 'Spagetti' through the expressway exit ramps! yeaaah!! I rock.
woohoo.
My point was we probably need more site guidelines if we're going
to introduce more languages outside our default language. If you
don't feel that way, that's fine too. it was only my suggestion.
sndwave- Im Japanese you goof. :impatient

SORRY everyone...
Sorry everyone. I started the thread. I only posted in Japanese because I know that there must be many MINI enthusiasts out there who might be able to read it. I would not use Babelfish to communicate however. In this case I have used professional translators to help me. (let me know if the Japanese was not accurate).
Your point is well taken...If you don't speak the language you really don't know what you are saying to the native speaker. On the other hand I have had a chance to communicate with many others (French, German, Russian, Spanish and Italian). Often they do speak English, however I think it is nice to try to communicate in their language first. I am not insulted when they try to speak English and I do appreciate their efforts very much.
My hope is to include all MINI fans from around the world. Maybe this isn't the right forum. I will refer you to the español MINIS ??? thread as an example. There was a strong response here.
Anyway. Sorry if I upset anyone. Just trying to reach out to all the enthusiasts.
I see they added Asia to the Forum list. Thanks...
Cheers!
