R50/53 New color combo?
Just taking a wild guess here, but that appears to be showing something like the 3M Stoneguard product - a protective coating on the paint.
I seems to match the areas that the coating would be applied. Just a guess. :???:

I can be such a dork sometimes... But yeah...that's what they are trying to show. I didn't realize it when I saw it. They are just showing that is where the "invisishield" is placed. They want $139 + installation for the kit. My service manager advised against it, saying that it can start to peel off, as he has seen on other BMWs. But hey...that still looks to be a very cool color combo.

$139 + install is a pretty good deal considering most dealers charge over $400 for it. Ferman of Tampa Bay puts that stuff on every car (Autobahnd brand instread of StoneGuard) and puts $650 on the dealer sticker. I talked them down to $350, but that's still a rip. At least it comes with a 3 year chip and peel warranty.

Welllll........

As for the color - I saw a pic showing a light, almost powder blue (can't remember the name they used), and I thought it was quite nice on a MINI!
