hibernate a MINI? did you know that's illegal in the US?
are you asking like pumping the gas all the way to full, pumping
air into the tires to 40psi, unplugging battery or putting a trickle
charger on it, car cover, things like that?

If you're not going to take it out every time the weather allows...then remove the plugs and put a squirt of oil in each cylinder....then replace the plugs. Make sure to disconnect the battery or even better, remove, put on wood and hook a trickle charger to it....Cover it and put it up on jack stands. Don't think you have to worry too much about rust but hopefully you have a garage.
