Well, I had this idea for a while, but some one beat me to it with the Red MINI club. Still, the fact is DS is still MCS only color and we all know when it's combined with a black roof, it's the COOLEST MCS by far
We must unite! I live in SoCAL and in the near future, I want to organize a DS/B only MINI run somewhere in the west. Let's start "CLUB DSB". I want to see DS/B Mini from all over the world. Please post a pic of your car. I want to see 100 DSB MCS run together!! Are you in?

Gee, I get to be no. 3 out of 100?! Woohoo. dont get me wrong, I love my DS/B combo--especially as it responds so well to tint and dechroming!
I will call you --- dark MINI...

Keep coming!
Gandini, you have the MC side vent right? Me too. Looks great on DS MINIs I think.

yeah - dechroming is one of my next steps.

Pfunk: yes, MC side marker grilles. I was thinking of a little red S bling just to make them mine, but only if I have time...
And DS is certainly NOT a popular color out here in New Mexico! We even have a dealer in Albuquerque and I've seen about 5 DS in total around the city. The blues are very popular as are yellow and pepper white--I suppose some people think that hot sun would make a dark car unbearable in the long summers. But at 5000ft my biggest problem is oxygen (in the engine!) not heat!
I always get compliments on the car color (not mods of course, coz most people don't see them, or care about them, or appreciate them.) It's sort of greenish in certain light and very classy in that German way without being *silver* IYKWIM.
DS/B all the way!
cheers,
