It is so hard....

to keep this car down for the breakin period! Ugh!!!

She just wants to go, but I can't let her.

Still working the Cold Weather Package issue but so far it looks good.

Occasional bursts of WOT during break-in are necessary requirements. The MINI gods will understand.

Hope ya get the heated seats/mirrors/washers retro-fitted.

I know what you mean about the breakin period. I put about 300 miles on this weekend, just up to about 1000 miles. Started doing some short, full power runs up to thru fourth gear to make sure the rings seat. I get a nice tire churp as I shift into second gear that gets me smiling.

Need to check my oil today and see where it sits. I may do an early oil change in another 1000 or 1500 miles.

I'm still fighting the urge to really step on it. She just really wants to go...

As for the break-in for me, I was told to keep under 110 MPH (I live in Germany where this is not considered speeding in some areas) but I can feel that the car definetly does not lack power. This is my first MCS and I will probably drive it until it dies. :smile:
