After looking at the back of the Cooper S I kind of doubt that you can get one since the exhaust comes out of the center area, but I thought I would ask.
I have a sprortworks bike rack that I would like to use with the Cooper S.

There WAS, made by the same company (MINI Fini) that makes the sport link & the sport link bike rack. Mounts in the same place as the bike rack does, and was just called the "Tow Link".

Unfortunately, unless you find one used, you can't buy them any more. MINI Fini went out of business.

Max. tow capacity for it was only 1,400 lbs. though - just so you realize. Depending on your needs, that may not have been enough anyway.

 

Just about three weeks ago I purchased the Sportlink, bike rack, and the tow hitch from a company that bought out FiniMini's inventory. They may still have a few left. Try Outmotoring.com

Junkman's hitch looks reasonable. I don't like the idea of having to cut my car but.... As I told him, I want to get the small Harbor Freight trailer and use my old X-Cargo for my suitcases and stuff when I take trips. That way I have an empty cabin and can still have the top down!!!

Does anyone out ther have Junkman's hitch. I want to know how they cover the holes when not using it.

I pull a little trailer similar to the Harbor Frieght one. It is easy to forget it is back there if the load is kept reasonable.
