What about the extra button on the MFSW?

OK, I have the multifunction steering wheel with the buttons for the phone, but since I don't a phone hooked up on the car, I was wondering what others may have done with these buttons. Is it possible to program them to do other features? Garage door, mute the radio, order a pizza?

Are you single? Date randomly?

Hook up an ejection seat.

Married, but there are times when I could use it. I did not realize that the MINI comes with OnStar. "Aren't you going a little fast?" "Are you lost" "Shouldn't we be there by now"....

If you are handy with a soldering iron Ian can make you a circuit that will monitor the iBus for when you hit that button. Then you can use it to toggle whatever you want. I have mine toggling DSC.

I'd like to remap these two buttons. With the iPod adapter installed I understand bluetooth is not available (don't want bluetooth anyway, just an observation).

I'd like to remap these two buttons so that one turns the stereo on/off, and the other functions the same as the MODE button on the stereo.

I don't think you can remap buttons that already have a function, as they all send a signal on the ibus--then the stereo etc monitors it for that signal.
