Pulled the trigger!

Ok, thanks to everyone for your great advice, insight and knowledge of the MINI and the ordering process. I just placed my order-here it is.

Cold Weather pkg
Convenience pkg
Harmon/Kardon sound system
Cordoba beige interior
Cordoba shift **** and lever gaiter

Yes, you will lose your mind....but not to worry. Your MINI is so worth it and sounds awesome. Cordoba beige w/ anthracite will be a very, very nice touch. Not trying to toy w/ your sanity here, but motoring is simply the best ever. You have SO much to look forward to!!

Hardware wise my car is exactly the same. But I ordered the limited slip differential. Pepper White with the black roof is a very classy combo

Congrats on your order! PW/B was high on my list of choices. I think it is a pretty classy combo.

I just ordered my MCS last Friday and it's seems like I've been waiting weeks already :impatient . I guess the fact that I was back and forth on the fence for the last year and only now decided to finally place my order doesn't help.

With the help of those here at NAM we should be able to keep our sanity while waiting for our MINIs to arrive. Remember to call 866-ASK-MINI and don't just rely on the OL to help track the status, as it usualy lags behind by a few days at times.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement, I'm sure I can hold up with the help of everyone here at NAM. So much to do to get ready, find a name, buy accessories, refill my Zaino supplies....
Dave, BRG was my other color choice, I finally had to let my family choose between the 2 and it was a close call.
Off to start nesting

Congrats...like everyone has alreaedy said you won't be disappointed. It took us about 6 months to get ours, but it was worth the wait. I played hooky on Friday to go pick it up, drove it all day yesterday and am thinking about ditching work at noon Monday (I have duty today).

Welcome to the club

Good choice! (see my sig) I got mine off of the lot, so no wait. I have about the same specs but with Panther black leather. Cordoba would look awesome though. The Mgr ordred it fairly loaded just to have on the lot. I came in in April to see about trading my 04 FX 35 because I could see where gas was heading. It had just gotten over $2/gal. It didn't look like it was coming back down. Anyway, it had just come off the truck as I drove in and it was "love at first sight" Timing is everything. Hope the wait is less than you think.

Well, you'll be glad to know I called my dealer today and added the LSD!!!
Since the first thing that DH and I are going to do when the MINI gets here is take a cruise to the N.GA mountains, it seemed like the logical thing to do!!!
I also told him to scrap all the cordoba beige leather and just do the space gray cloth seats. I really have fallen in lust with the seat covers at Wet Okole and think their seat covers will add the fun to the interior look. Heck for $1500.00 (the cost of the CB leather interior plus the shift **** and gaiter) I can get 3 different sets of seat covers, front and rear, and have a new look whenever I want!
Thanks again all,
Annette

Just a great big question on the seat covers. Sure you can use them? How will they effect the air bags deployment?

Not a prob, the seat covers are made for the mini and the airbags are completely functional.
