Picking up my new 06 HyperBlue/Wht MCS tonight from Mini of Sterling!

Went to Carmax earlier in the week for an appraisal, just want to see if the dealer will give me a better trade in then Carmax for my A4. We'll see, but since they are right next door to each other I can always run over to Carmax and get a check from them if the dealer can't at least match their number.

My next post should be as an owner, instead of as a wannabe

I know others have had issues with Sterling - not us - LOVE them! Two of our 3 MINIs came from them....:smile:

Congratulations! So, is this the first 06 delivery so far? Do you have that distinct honor?

 

Which mini was yours? There were at least 10 waitng out back, was one of them yours?

I must have just missed you, I was there 3-6 today. Sorry though, Mike said I was the first '06 pickup with them. There is a pic in my gallery!!!!

 

Mine was in for detailing when I got there (about 7pm). ' 06 MCS Hyper Blue with white top/mirrors/wheels, 6spd, and all the packages. I assume that it was lined up out back prior to the detailing. I *think* that it actually arrived the same day, but since I didn't have any dealer installed options it was a quick processing.

Once I finished off the paperwork I had to park it and drive my A4 over to Carmax to sell it since the dealer couldn't get a better trade in offer then Carmax. It worked out ok tho.

While we waited for Carmax to process my car, we walked back over to Mini and took it for a spin (about 20 minutes). Trying hard to break it in properly so I'm being good for now.

Went out for a spin this morning, and we're headed out to Leesburg in a while, so I'll get some more miles under my belt today.

My first mod so far... Removing the silly cup holder bolted to the down tube.
