My 05 MC white over liquid yellow has the sport and cold weather packages, MF wheel with cruise, std air, fogs front and rear. I am entirely happy with it. Changes coming up include great non-runflats, and if I had it to do over again I'd get the white 5 spokes. I read here how difficult they were to keep clean so didn't order them, but after seeing them on a couple of Minis they look fantastic! Pete

LSD and Anthricite headliner. Thats it. Maybe a factory ragtop too.

 

I love my spec, so there are only a couple of things I would change, both of which weren't even available when I ordered mine as it is an early 05. I would add LSD and rear fog.

What I didn't want this time around: MCS, DSC, leather, sunroof, auto a/c

 

We would probably only add the rear fogs and keep the car the way it is.

 

The stuff I want isn't available factory - and I'm 100% happy with the build I chose. I wouldn't change a thing!

 

The only thing I'd add would be LSD...wasn't available when I ordered my 05 MCS. Oh, and because LY isn't available in the MCS any longer, I'd go with my second choice, Pepper White.

Otherwise, everything is perfect as it is.

 

Now only having owned my MINI since early Aug, things that I would change would be as follows.

NO Automatic, love the CVT but shifting would be nice plus better fuel economy
No sunroof, that was my wife's doing
Would do the Sport package al cart(sp?) so I could not have the Runflats
Pay extra and get full leather not the Tartan red with leather combo, the Red fabric water stains way to easy
Everything esle would stay the same, Xenon and DSC are a must.

I would have added the interior and exterior chrome package.

When I spec'd my MINI in July (still waiting, but it's just having dealer stuff done now so I should have it next week), I didn't think I wanted chrome, who needs all that shiney stuff....Well like a crow I have been attracted to all the shiney stuff and had my dealer at the retrofit interior chrome kit. Cost more, but I am going to enjoy it...

I think I would have also added the anthracite headliner. Just too much stuff....

I added everything else to my MCS....

I didn't get the sport package on my '05 MCS - but got everything that came with it except 17" wheels and DSC. Later on a decided I wanted 17s.

So I'd get the sport package next time.

That and auto A/C.
