What is a fair price on this car?

2005 MINI COOPER, 5k mi, 210 HP, every option, incl. John Cooper kit. premium/sport package, premium sound.

Good luck on figuring what the the JCW is worth because KBB and NADA don't list the JCW pakage as an option. I wonder how that will work when trying to get financing from a bank or credit union? Especially now that it is a factory option. Should be interesting to see how their value holds...

But to answer your question, the S alone is worth over $26k (private party value) according to KBB.

For 06, BMW finance will only residualize about $2000 of the JCW kit for a lease.

Aftermarket parts, which the JCW kit was at the time, often do not add much to the resale value, sometimes even lowering the value. Especially true if the preception is that the parts would encourage excessive wear on the car.
