For the most part, true...But the Vail police department in Colorado uses Saabs. (Which I guess is "technically" an American car since Saab is now owned by GM.)

No...BUT...I saw the movie Bourne Identity last night (Matt Damon) and he and his companion are driving an early model MINI (Mini), being pursued by police through Paris. Pretty cool scene!!! Great movie. :smile: :smile:

 

For a while the cops in Australia were using (Classic) Mini Coopers as highway patrol cars. And this was back when they had a minimum height requirement to be a cop!
