The hard tops need Hot Orange from the convertable. What about a Lime Green?A shade darker than this guy who rolls his eyes...

It's really too bad about the loss of Liquid Yellow as a color in 2006. I plan on ordering an MCS sometime this year and that was one color that I had seriously considered.

I can't figure out why they dropped Electric Blue ? I understand it was the 2nd most ordered color. MINI used it in almost all the print advertisments in 2003 and 2004. I was thinking of selling my 2003 Electric Blue MCS and ordering a 2006 MCS, but I don't like ANY of the new colors.

I'm so mad they dropped EB. Esp. since they only had it out ONE year that you could get the body colored dash. Not cool.

Another geekish addition. It is called chrome yellow because the color is derived from the elemental chrome when added to oil based paints as a pigment.

I am also disappointed with the new color choices. I was looking forward to a new color on my '06 MCS, but it looks like the new one is going to just be a repeat of the old one.

But I guess I shouldn't complain because I was/am very happy with the DS/W combination.

I wish they would bring back Velvet Red. That is a really great color!
At least I got my JB/JB before they changed that too.

Agreed on Velvet Red. When i test drove the Cooper last year, they told me they were discontinuing it... i was mad, because i REALLY wanted that color, but didn't think i could afford it yet.

I've never seen a manual trans VR before. And i've been looking for a long time. After that i decided LY if i got a cooper, EB if i got an S. and gosh darn it they took that away next.
