Looks like the 2006 Checkmate package’s interior sports seats, dash and steering wheel will always be Space Blue no matter what exterior color you select.
I’m not so sure how good that color interior will look with Liquid Yellow, Royal Grey or Solar Red?
I think it is not such a stretch with the other colors; Pepper White, Astro Black, Pure Silver, Dark Silver, Hyper Blue, or of course Space Blue.

Could look good with Royal Gray. Don't know about LY though...

 

Liquid Yellow is a closed eyes no and Royal Grey looks brown. Since it's a special model why don't you buy it in Space Blue/Silver?

I love this combo (except the seats are leather/cloth). Too bad I'm keeping my MCS and going for a MCSC.

 

This is a cloth/leather combo? I take it the "sliver" part of the seat is cloth, right? That's too bad. Space Gray Cloth is not a very durable cloth, and it keeps getting dirty looking fast. I've got it (not my choice, it's just how things turned out) in the gray/black cloth set up, in an '05 MC, and it generally sucks. The blue leather looks great though, and I think it could work very well with Liquid Yellow, my current Mini color.
