Hi everyone.
Have any of you had any problems with the passenger window not sliding down/up that half-inch when closing or opening ? It seems to happen when the window isn't closed by keeping the button pressed for an extra second after it has reached the top. With the driver's side window, there is no problem , as this is one-touch operation. Will ask them to program in the one-touch to the passenger-side as well.

Welcome zeabre! I see you're from South Africa...and therefore you may not know that here in the states (where many MCO users are based), our MINIs don't have one-touch-UP windows. We only get one-touch-down.

But your problem with the window not doing the extra .25" has been discussed before...a long time ago here and I can't find the thread. I recall that it was something that the dealer was readily able to address. But it does make for difficulty in opening/closing the door until you get it fixed. Good luck!

 

... there was also something in that thread about 'resetting' the window: hold the switch as the window goes all the way down and then hold it as it goes all the way back up, then hold the switch in the up possition for a few seconds more ... worked for me ...

 

Thanks guys. I am worried that if the door is closed with the window up to much it might actually hurt the window mounting in the door, which is a problem with these frameless doors. Will take to the dealer over the weekend, see if he can't programme in the one-touch.
