But her little name is "Mojo"

A Mini/MINI by any other name is still a Mini/MINI. I was telling my friend Rose that... never mind...I know you literary folks will get it.

After Serious Consideration ...

I've come to the conclusion that it all depends upon the company I am in:

1. If at home, its the "caa" as in: "You take the caa"

2. If talking to other MINI owners its "MINI"

3. If talking to other knowledgable car owners (But not MINI), then it's "The MINI". "The" is important.

4. If talking in the hood with my bros ... its "The cooper"

5. If talking in polite company its "The MINI Cooper"

and finally when talking at the country club with all the rich folks its:

"The Works Car"

My MCS is just a Mini (or MINI, but I don't like the way that looks).

It's been debadged, partly because I don't feel the need to differentiate between Coopers and Cooper Ses (and partly because it just looks better that way - I recommend it to everyone).

We're all in on the same joke, and my neighbor with the PS MC flies up the off-ramp just as fast as I do!

To paraphrase Kermit the Frog, if you're a Camry I can see how being an XLE might be important, but to me a Mini is a Mini.

This is a funny topic I have never given much thought o till I read the thread and realized we my wife and two kids call it "The MINI" just like Bill. Are you taking the MINI, lets take The MINI, pick me up from shool in The MINI. The expedition alas is just plain ole Mom's car!

To normal people, mine's "the MINI". To MINI people, mine's "the brown one".
