Child Locks or Broken Door?

Well I have had my 05 HB MCS for almost 2 months. (5K miles, Yea!) Anyhow, today my passenger door wont open from the inside. Normally you pull it once to unlock and the second pull opens it. Well, right now the first pull wont unlock the door so I have to hit the unlock button and it still wont open. I have to open it from the outside. I am pretty sure that the mini does NOT have child locks. (But then again my dealer didnt explain one thing on the car when I picked it up) Dont get me started on that horrible experience
Is there some sort of hidden child lock that I dont know about?
Or is my door just broken?
Thanks

This happened to my driver side door a couple of weeks ago. The cable that goes from the handle to the actuator came loose on mine. I took it to the dealer as I needed to get a headlight replaced (bad ball joint) so I had them do it. If you don't want to take it to your dealer, I'm pretty sure that it doesn't take too much effort to pull off your door panels and retighten the cable. If you get in there and the cable isn't loose, the actuator may be bad and require replacing, but I've just recently heard of a few others having this issue with a loose cable, so you may want to check that first

This was a reoccuring problem w/ my04 JCW/MCS. The cable comes out of a hanger. Putting it back is a temp. fix, as it WILL come out again .! Make them replace it!
