I thought it was awesome !!!
Now granted I have a great, great affinity for the Mini Cooper, but it, in the words of Buddy Hackett in "It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world", ; "It just sailed out there !"
From an engineering standpoint it is not easy to do what they did.
From a pratical standpoint I wouldn't mind applying what they did to the next car that steals my parking spot.
or ...
for some reason I am growing to hate PT Cruisers.... It would look cool to see one of those flying off into the distance ....
That is my unsolicited $0.02

I wonder what its 0-60 times were, and how fast it's 1/4 mile was... You could use that to calculate RRHP (Rear Rocket Horsepower).
It freakin FLEW though, If the parachute had gone off early enough, it would have landed no problemo, thats what the tail helped do, balance it out.

Were they new cars? If you look the blue one was red inside of the bonnet and when they took out the seats it was red inside of there also. I figured they were junked MINI's made to look half way decent. They also didn't have engines.

I would have liked to see the parachute deploy on the blue MINI though. . .
