So I leave to go somewhere for dinnner while its still light outside. Am at the place for about an hour and I come outside to my car to find all the rear lights lit up even the break lights. Needless to say my first instinct is to hit the unlock button and everything goes off.

Anyone ever seen this before?

 

they were still on before you went into the reasuraunt.

it happens sometimes to me when i roll to a stop with my lights on (shut the key off while rolling) and try to turn off the lights. i think something gets confused in the computer.

not a big deal, it happens

 

Maybe your MINI is haunted??!!

 

Or maybe it just wanted some attention

 

It happened to me 3-4 times, I would leave the car and luck it, the rear lights are on as well as the brake lights, turned the ignition on, play with the lights, they will go off.

If it makes a habit, spank it in the butt, so will learn to behave
