I have a January build '05. From time to time, my flat tire indicator light would go on and when I checked the tire pressures, all was fine and I usually figured that it was from driving over a bump or something to that effect. A couple of days ago, the light went on and I checked my tire pressures...all fine. But now the light won't turn off. According to the manual, this means that there is a malfunction in the flat tire indicator system and to take it to my dealer. My concern is that I have aftermarket springs and I change my tires fairly often between my run-flats and my autocross tires. Does anyone know where the sensors are located for this and could they say that the sensors were disturbed when we installed the springs a few months ago, or the system is affected by frequent wheel changes, and therefore won't pay to fix it? thanks:smile:

 

the tire pressure monitoring system uses the ABS sensors to determine the rotation of the wheel and check if there is a variation between all of the tires.

 

I had the same problem, have springs too, they did not give me hard time at service, it is a simple computer plug-in procedure, covered under warranty.
